![]() The 8th conference on research of the Myanmar Academy of Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Fishery Sciences (MAAFLFS) took place at the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, in Nay Pyi Taw, on 7 December 2009 morning. It was attended by Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation Maj-Gen Htay Oo, Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Brig-Gen Maung Maung Thein, Minister for Education Dr Chan Nyein, Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation U Ohn Myint, departmental heads, chairman, vice-chairmen, and members of the academy, resource persons, and guests.exhibitMinister Maj-Gen Htay Oo delivered an introductory speech. Chairman of the academy Dr Myint Thein spoke words of thanks. After the conference, the ministers and the attendees inspected the pavilions on research of the academy.group Nineteen papers on agricultural research were read at the University of Agriculture; 17 papers on forestry research, at the Forest Research Department; and 18 papers on livestock, at the University of Veterinary Science in Nay Pyi TawYezin. The paper reading sessions continue at 9 am up to 9 December at the same venues. |
